“I'm talking about your Das Klang Richter USB cable, which in my case took listening to digital music via my music server to a new level. It must have been around 2018 when I integrated a music server into my hi-fi chain. Practical, but not really musically satisfactory. The device only had a USB interface, which turned out to be an obstacle to better sound. As a reviewer for german magazine fairaudio I tested a few USB cables and found one that at least played acceptably. Unfortunately, it couldn't really satisfy serious audiophile demands. Luckily, our friend Walter Kircher from Kircher Hifi, who can be very stubborn when he is convinced of something, insisted on trying out Das Klang Richter in the USB version. With the USB Das Klang Richter, the technical aftertaste that I had always attributed to the digital principle disappeared. The music suddenly had an organic flow, had realistic tonal colors and opened up acoustic spaces that I previously thought were closed. In short, the music had returned to my hi-fi system and this enjoyment quickly became just as natural as it had always been with my analogue setup. But in truth, none of this enjoyment can be taken for granted, but rather thanks to your fine USB cable, which I still use every day with great pleasure and wouldn't give away again for the world.”

My experiences with Das Klang cables… how to start… resolution is fine, very open and fragile… stable soundstage… airy, 3D… so-called „analogue sound“ … anyway the phono cable works well and is similar too… what is really special - to the point: the tonality, the timbre… human sound… The following comparison fits here best: That certain something is similar, which distinguishes a good NOS tube from a modern tube.
